Ryan Eisenman, Owner and Chief Consultant founded Mac S.O.S. in Y2K. Almost 20 years later, Ryan has personally provided Apple computer technical support for over a thousand people and small businesses since that time! Quite a few of these clients are still ongoing clients to date.
"I completely understand how frustrating it can sometimes be when dealing with technical problems with your Mac Computer, iPhone, iPad or other devices. I also understand that when your ©Apple computer or other device is not working and you depend on it for business needs, it can end up being quite costly! I strive to eliminate as much computer downtime as possible with the quickest turnaround times for any Mac repair or computer service that I offer."
"Nothing makes me happier than rescuing someone from a computer emergency!"
"I've been told more than a few times by clients that I'm like having a best friend that's an Apple Computer Consultant."
Most people keep sensitive and private data on their computers that are for their eyes only! My service starts with maintaining and protecting your privacy.
Often my clients give me unrestricted access to their computers and other devices. I take this unrestricted access very seriously and would never invade your privacy! I always want to make sure that you feel completely comfortable with any and all access that's given to me! I'll never insist that you reveal any of your passwords or other sensitive information. If you feel completely comfortable with doing so, many times it does help me with being more efficient. I'm always happy to have you enter all passwords and other access information when needed! Many times I work with clients who are launching new businesses or working on new business ideas that need to be kept completely confidential. I'm always more than happy to sign a Non-disclosure Agreement when requested.
You can rest assured that any private or otherwise sensitive information that I'm privy to while providing my service will always remain completely confidential!
Protecting your personal data from a loss that could occur from a hardware or software failure, natural disaster, theft, etc., should be one of your most important concerns while using your personal devices! This is the most important concern to me!
Before doing any work, I'll insistent that either an on-site or off-site Cloud backup of your data exists for any devices needing service. Usually, I'm more comfortable with my clients having backups in both the Cloud and on-site!
I can never stress enough how important data backups are! Even if you only use your device to browse the internet. Having everything on a regular backup schedule will make it easier and less time-consuming when it's time to upgrade to a newer computer or another device. Most people experience a catastrophic data loss only once in their life. Afterward, they understand how much it can hurt to lose valuable data like pictures and home movies. If you've never experienced this and you become my Client, more than likely you never will!
Before ending a service call, I'll make sure that my clients are aware of how important an ongoing data back up system is and consequences of not backing up!
There’s a common misconception that Macs can’t get Viruses yet, they are very susceptible to Malware and other security threats that include Viruses, Spyware, Adware, Trojan Horses, Worms, Hacking Tools, Dialers, Keyloggers, and Scareware. Making your computer secure is as important to me as protecting your privacy and your data!
On top of the threat of your Mac getting infected with Malware are Phishing Scams that can appear in your email, disguised as your financial institution or an online business that you've purchased products from or an online service that you are currently subscribed to. More and more I'm also hearing about tech support scams where someone receives a dubious call from an individual claiming that they are from Apple or Microsoft tech support and saying that they've detected a serious problem with your computer, software or network! These tech support scams are also flourishing on the web too. You may visit a website that forces your browser to freeze with a dialog box reporting that your computer is infected with Malware while conveniently giving you a phone number to contact for help.
While working on your computer, I'm always on the look-out for any sign of a security breach or Malware. I always like to at least do a basic Malware scan as part of my service. I also like to educate my clients about these security threats and what to be on the look-out for which includes detecting signs of Malware and how to avoid becoming a victim of a Phishing Scam or Scareware. I also like to instruct my clients on creating and using more secure passwords including utilizing Two-Factor Security when possible.
If a client doesn’t already have security software installed on their computer, I like to help with the purchasing and installation of security software so that I leave your computer as secure as possible.
When my on-site service ends, being readily available for my clients to provide off-site support begins. On an ongoing basis, I try my best to always be available for my clients for any type of needed computer technical support. Whether it be for emergency on-site Apple support, or off-site Mac support by Phone, remote access, Email and even via text message.
It seems like for most people, when a computer problem arises, they need it fixed immediately and consider the problem an emergency! Sometimes a computer problem can bring your digital life and business to a complete standstill so, of course, it needs to be dealt with immediately! When you contact me, even if you don't feel that you're having a computer emergency, I'll treat it as if it is one! I'm always eager to solve a Client's computer problem as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Sometimes my ongoing clients call me for support while traveling around the world or late at night. I'm always happy providing the support they need no matter what time of day it is here or there! All I care about is getting you back up and running as soon as possible! Quite often, if available I can offer same-day on-site and off-site Apple computer technical support if not next-day support. When you contact me for any kind of technical support, I'll always get back to you as soon as possible.
I assume that every new client will be an ongoing client that I can build a close, professional relationship with and another client who can depend on me anytime for emergency Apple technical support.
I come from the old times when you had to physically send a computer to apple to get it fixed. Yes I know 1989 was a long time ago. So when it comes to computers and service I am not a novice. I tried a few other places that I will not mention here but needless to say, I have been less than pleased. I decided to go with a onsite repair specialist instead. I am so glad I did. Excellent service at your home at a reasonable price. I really like this service because he comes out to my home and fixes my mac apple computer in Los Angeles. I don't have to ship it anywhere and often I don't even have to unplug the computer. Another good thing is Ryan the owner is a really cool guy to deal with.
Mac SOS has been a very valuable resource for me. They have set-up and configured my Apple Computers for my home and business. They continue to keep my computers running smoothly, performing regular preventative maintenance. It’s great to always have my computers running trouble-free and at their peak performance. Thanks to Mac SOS, I can always concentrate on the design aspect of my business.
What scares me... the Mistress of the Dark? Computers! Using my Mac was a nightmare until MacSOS came along and rescued me! Now if I could just do something about these long black nails. Thanx you guys... I think.
Many thanks for the fantastic job you did setting up my new iMac and my wireless home network. The upgraded operating system works great and you turned a complex job into a breeze! Thanks for your punctuality and for being so darned dependable. I recommend MacSOS to everyone!
MAC SOS' Ryan Eisenman saved my business! My computer froze up and I tried everything I knew to get it back up. I could do nothing with my video. I was stumped and had a deadline to meet. I called Mac Sos on Sunday night and Ryan arrived Monday morning. He worked his magic on my Mac Quad Pro, discovered the problem was a faulty graphics card, and got me up and running within an hour after discovering the problem. He tuned it up afterward and now it runs like a new computer! I am amazed. I would recommend Ryan and Mac SOS to anyone who owns a Mac.
